Aprilia has launched the Aprilia Storm 125 in Nepal. Coming in at a price of Rs.2,24,900, the Aprilia Storm 125 is based on the Aprilia SR 125 with only a few but notable differences. Aprilia is offering the Storm 125 in two new paint options - matte red and matte yellow and will also offer sporty decals to differentiate itself from the SR125.[gallery size="full" ids="9510,9509"]The Aprilia Storm 125 will only get a single halogen headlamp unit compared to its dual halogen brother, the SR 125. The most notable change is what the Aprilia Storm 125 rides on. The Storm 125 rides on 12-inch dual-purpose tires measuring 120/80-section at the front and 130/80-section at the rear. These tires come with thick treads that inspire a sense of offroad to the beholders. Suspension duties are carried out exactly how it is on the Aprilia SR 125 with the telescopic fork up front and a mono-shock unit at the rear.[gallery size="full" ids="9493,9492,9491,9494,9496,9495"]While propelling this scooter is the same 124.49 cc petrol found on the Aprilia SR 125 that makes 9.5 horses and 9.9 Nm of torque, the sad part comes at what helps the Storm 125 come to a stop as the Aprilia Storm 125 has drum brakes on both the wheels with 'Combined Braking System' instead having a disc up front like the SR 125. The Aprilia Storm 125 will go up against the TVS NTorq 125, Honda Grazia and the Hero Maestro Edge 125.[gallery size="full" ids="9498,9499,9500,9497"]
